has anybody heard of the hearing aid sweatband? if so, could you let me know if it really works? from what i've read it reduces wind-noise, it repels water, and it protects the aid from lightly splashy or sweaty situations. is that true? i don't want to get one if if it doesn't actually work.

Well you would more funny if you couldn't hear in certain environments because of sweating.

It make look funny, but sometimes looks isn't all that matters. Functionality is important too.

I used to cut the fingers off of rubber gloves (the ones used to wash dishes) and would use that to cover my BTE HA. It works great for keeping the BTEs dry.

The Hearing Aid Sweatband eliminates sudden loss of hearing due to moisture from perspiration, rain or snow, and stops dust and dirt infiltration. The Hearing Aid Sweatband are attractively packaged 2 per pack and are available in six color and five sizes ranging from mini to extra large.
