Volume Control

On HA's that have volume control how do you know what is the appropriate level?

For those of you who have volume control do you find it to be necessary? The HA's that I currently have don't have the volume control option and on my old HA's it really wasn't something I used.

Modern digital aids make a single 'beep' when the volume is changed either up or down - and make a double 'beep' when you get to the the minimum & maximum volumes.

If you're have trouble with not hearing the beeps, ask your audi and maybe they can activate it.

Hearing aids is a digital electronics devices. these volume controls will tend to be digital. If you have an ITE (in-the-ear) hearing aid with a volume control, it will be a digital volume control if there's no on/off switch and the control freely rotates without any stops. Thanks a lot!
