Last week I got my first hearing aid. It is a hearing aid made by resound. I can say I am not too happy with it. Im supposed to get my left hearing aid on monday, but I don't know if I want to continue with this hearing aid.

I don't know if all in the ear ha's sound like this one did, but I felt as if I was talking with a garbage can over my head. my largest complaint is the shrill sound when I place a phone close to my ear. I don't know if I can deal with that because I answer the phone a lot at my job. I was supper disappointed because I was hoping that these hearing aids would work.
My second selection would be the Unitron Fuse but i was wondering...do all in the ear ha's give a plugged up feeling? I have heard that they make ha's that are phone friendly, so I guess i will have to continue looking.
if I were to look at a bte ha, do they cause problems with wearing glasses? as of now I only wear glasses for reading, which means I remove and replace them quite often. I was worried the ha would feel uncomfortable with the glasses. is anyone able to tell me about what they have experienced? thanks...

Hello!

in my experience hearing aids do not interfere with glasses.

depending on your hearing loss, BTE hearing aids can be very discrete and comfortable.

Good luck
