Sweatbands enough?

Im wanting to join a gym, but I very worried about my hearing aids cmoing in contact with sweat. Obviously, I'm not refering to swimming, I'd take the hearing aids off for that, haha.

I've got the Phonak Audeo YES IX hearing aids which are receiver-in-the-canal hearing aids. I got some hearing aid sweatbands and was wondering if that was good enough since the sweatbands only cover the external part of the hearing aid and not the in-ear portion (with the receiver)?

The sweatbands have been useful for protecting the battery compartment which depending on the aid can sometimes shut it off if moisture gets in.

Any thoughts for running on the treadmill, etc. would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

I won't wear my aids even if Im working in the yard. Im too afraid that they will get messed up. Im a VET and I get my aids from the VA so if they need work done on them it takes up to a month for me to get them back. I can't afford not to have them. I have to have them to be able to work.
