Switch CIC to other ear

I have increased loss in my left ear and need to replace my CIC with a BTE. I've only had this CIC for about a year and don't really want to just put it away for it to never be used again. My right ear also has an increased loss and it is currently unaided, I would like to have the left ear CIC put in a new mold so that I can use it in my right ear. I'm sure the audi would rather sell me a new one but I'd prefer to not waste my money. Has anyone a CIC from one ear to the other? Any idea how much it would cost?
