What aids work well with working on the phone?

I use the phone all day long for work and I am looking to get some hearing aids. I hear a lot of people say that CICs are not good but I think that they would be the most comfortable for talking on the phone. Which CICs are best for working on the phone a lot?

CIC aids would work well for you if youre on the phone for much of the day and dont have a very severe hearing loss.

The problem with CIC aids is that you cannot get directional microphones or other useful features on them. However, some studies have shown that there is a small directional benefit to having the microphone deeper in the ear canal (as opposed to ITE aids).

Directional microphones are most beneficial in noisy situations, which is the usual problem for people. Many people have started using open-fit BTE aids for comfort and cosmetics. You can often use the phone with these aids without any difficulties.

I have many patients who have CICs and they are very happy with them. I would assume you will find other users here who will report the same.
