Learning new settings on Epoqs

I want to know about Epoqs and how they "learn".
If I I'm continuously turning the volume down by 2 clicks. Will the aid "learn" so that this 2-click down volume setting is the start-up default? About how long does it take for the aid to adjust to the new setting? And if after a few months I want to change the settting so that I start clicking up by 2. Will it again "learn" the new setting? Does it take longer to adjust back to a new setting?
Anything esle about it that I should know?
The Epoq's learn in a matrix of 9 situations: Including soft, medium and loud inputs as well as speech, speech in noise, and noise. If you turn it down in a certain situation continuously such as loud speech situation it will learn to drop it down for just that type of situation but will remain the same for all of the other situations. I think it usually takes about 40 hours of you "teaching" it to adjust in certain situations before the learning is applied. I hope I explained that clearly for you.
