How to use Hearing Aid Insider's Forum
Asking a Question
To ask a question you simply go to the "section" of the forum that pertains to your question.
For example, if you had a question regarding a recent pair of Siemens hearing aids that you just purchased you would click on "Siemens and Related Companies" under the "Hearing Aid Brands" heading.
- After clicking on that link you are taken to a page that shows a listing of questions that other people have asked.
- At the top right of this section (just above the other questions) you will see a button that says "New Topic".
- Click on that link and it will bring you to a page where you can enter the subject of your question, just like an email, and the actual question that you have.
- Once you have typed in all the information that you want click the "Save" button at the bottom of the page.
Your question will now be added to the top of the forum page.
Answering a Question
To answer a question that was asked by someone else you first need to create an account. You can do this by clicking the "Create New Account" link at the bottoms of the User login box to the right. Enter a username, email address, and password. Be sure to choose a username and password that you will remember!
Once you have an account, you can navigate to the page that has a question or comment that you want to respond to. At the top and bottom of this page there is a "Post Reply" button on the left side. Enter your comments in the box and click Save. Your response will be added at the bottom of the list.
We hope that you find that the Hearing Aid Insider Forums are a valuable asset in learning from other hearing aid wearers and industry professionals!
