External filters

Many manufacturers claim to have wind noise filtering in their aids. I don't know if anybody else has had success with theirs or if others are more effictive but I'm not very pleased with this function in my new Widex Inteo BTE (IN-9).
I find that in strong winds its impossible to hear other people speaking.
I've tested putting different kinds of fiber materials with a piece of adhesive over the microphones. And though I've had pretty good success, this isn't very practical.
Has anyone found external wind noise filters that are easy to take on and off? I only want to use them in the winter.
External filters can be good in a salty environments too, such as on a sailing boat.

The people who have the Starkey Destiny 1200 or 1600 for wind noise filtering have been very impressed with them. Two of my patients ride a Harley and another drives a convertible and they don't seem to have any problems at all.
