Passion or Mind

i've been wearing Senso's by Widex for about 15 years and I'm starting to have difficulty hearing people again so I'm planning on upgrading. My audi is strongly suggesting the Passion. I've never worn BTEs before and I'm a little hesitant because I don't want them to be noticable. I'm bald on the top of my head and keep the sides of my hair very short so the aids will not be covered.
Widex also came out with the Mind. What are the differences between the Mind and the Passion? I find that I don't have much trouble in crowded rooms since most people talk louder in those settings, I more have difficulty when I'm not facing the person I'm talking to. Which one would be better for me?

In reality, all aids are seen. Its just that some are more noticeable than others. THe passions are very samll, they claim its the smallest RIC on the market.
BTEs are not noticeable from the front or side, the clear wire is also hardly noticeable. The only place you can see BTE is behind and slightly to the left or right. Usually when people are standing in that position they are not studying the back of our ears. CICs can be seen from a much wider range and I think they are more noticeble.
BTEs can also be bought in many different colors so that it can blend in for your specific needs, either your skin, hair, or glasses.
The differecnce between the Mind and the Passion is that the Mind is the newer product. The Passion is still smaller and has a longer battery life (an extra 15 hours). The Mind has updated hardware.

I just started wearing the Passion (open dome) and so far I love it. Its very discrete and comfortable to wear, I can't feel it on my ear and the dome is very comfortable. The sound is good, voices sound fairly natural and the quality of music is great. Road noise and background noise isn't overwhelming. There also isn't white noise from the aids themselves.
My only complaints are that there is not volume control, I may decide to get the remote however. There also aren't program changes, and so, again I may get the remote.

I don't know about the Widex aids. However I am also bald and have a short cut on the sides. I wear BTE Sonic Ions and they are the same color as my glasses and small enough that people don't notice them at all, especially from the front. Earlier this week, one of the batteries went dead while I was in a meeting so I took it out and changed the battery real fast. The man sitting next to me was surprised that I wore HAs and said that he never noticed them before. Just goes to show that hearing aids are very discreet and that doesn't have to be a main concern of anybody.
