Price difference between audiologists
Tue, 06/15/2010 - 06:43
I went to 3 different audiologists. All three recommended the Widex Flash after I told them what my price range was. 2 priced it at $4300, but the last audiologist told me the price was only $3800.
Does the Widex Flash come in differnt versions? If no, then why would there be a price difference between audiologists in the same neighborhood?

The audis might be offering different lengths of warranty so make sure you check that out. Also, free follow-ups are probably included but the length of service may vary.
If these are all the same, then they might have different mark-ups to cover operating costs, or its possible that the lower priced aid may get a larger volume discount when they are purchasing from the manufacturer.
